Sobre o Programa
The Trading Graduate Program is a three-year rotational program within BP’s Supply and Trading organization. In each rotation you will be located on our Sao Paulo office, working directly with industry-leading analysts and traders.
You will build a solid understanding of global energy markets in the power space. You will gain experience needed to make tangible contributions to BP’s performance while gaining valuable knowledge. The work is fast paced and technically demanding.
Trading graduates leverage math, logic, and communication skills to translate everything - from geo-political events to local supply/demand distortions – into a market view that can be monetized through trading positions.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity for a fulfilling career as part of a highly commercial organization.
Along with job rotations, on-the-job experience and personal mentoring; you’ll have training courses, expert advice, and regular feedback. This carefully thought-out approach will build your base of knowledge and allow you to understand energy trading, the role of analytics, and the various instruments/methods we use.
On completion of the program, you’ll have the proven ability to deliver insights to our trading benches and make consistent contributions to successful trading strategies. From there, you’ll have an opportunity to seek nomination for the Assessed Traders Course and/or apply for a permanent role within the trading team or in another area of BP. BP’s trading and analytics organization is well developed and offers opportunities for progression both on a technical and professional level. These roles could focus on a particular commodity before progressing to multiple products within a region or across regions.
A number of trading analyst roles are regularly available in all of our major global trading centers. Analysts regularly move among regions to broaden their experience of different commodities or regional markets depending on our business needs.
- A series of 1-year rotations, lasting for a total of 3 years. The rotations are decided upon based on individual development needs,
business needs, as well as input from the Program Manager.
- Competitive, with rigorous assessment and performance management throughout.
- Robust, giving graduates a wide exposure to our business.
- Supportive, supplemented by a learning and development offer, mentor and buddy system, as well as on the job training.
